I am trying to do quick mask but it doesn't work.
Am I missing same steps ?

My steps:

• double click layer
• name: layer O
• mask selection
• quick mask
• save as a photoshop (Illustrator or InDesign)
• save as a eps (Quark)

Does it mean that you need to bring transparency from Photoshop to a page layout program?  If yes, for InDesign and Illustrator it is enough to create transparent background in Photoshop and bring a .psd file (but if you want to avoid output problems, clipping path still works the best).  For Quark, you need to use a clipping path and save the file as .eps.
